It took a year and half to complete the pre-production of the project and seven months for constructing the sets. The set in Umbergaon, Gujarat, has been designed by Amit Singh and Vaibhav Jhadav and is spread across nine acres. The show will recreate the Battle of Hydaspes, the location of which is now in Pakistan. It will showcase the grandeur of ancient India and the promo gives us the glimpse of the beautifully-packaged show. The 260-episode show cost more than 1 crore for each episode, which is a first for any Indian show. It is reported that Porus has been made on budget of around Rs 500 crore. It is one of most anticipated shows of the recent times for its sheer scale and stellar cast.
